Board and Train

Too busy to train your dog? Julie Schmitt will do it for you in the privacy of her home. Julie offers this service to train your dog for a minimum of a three-week period. During this time, your dog will be taught basic on-leash obedience and additional commands are taught based on your personal requests and suggestions of the trainer. Your dog will be able to perform these commands even in the most distracting environments. Training begins in the quiet confines of Julie’s home and progresses to a multitude of locations where your dog learns to be a confident, happy, responsive pet. Your dog will be taught using positive training techniques, without the use of force. During the training, you will receive periodic updates on your dog’s progress and can visit any time. At the completion of training, you will receive a list of commands taught, places where your dog has been trained and free private training sessions for each week that your dog was trained. These sessions aid in the transition back to your home environment. Since this is a rather intense training period for your dog, they must be at least six months of age, and spayed or neutered, for this service.
